 KITCHEN VOLUNTEER  

DESCRIPTION:

Kitchen Volunteers package approximately 450 meals a day which are delivered to Homebound Elderly and Disabled Individuals.  Volunteers will be standing for the majority of the time they are working and they will be asked to wear provided hair nets, gloves and aprons.  Late shift volunteers will package cold sack items for the following day.  

DATE AND TIMES NEEDED:

 Monday through Friday

 Early Shift:   8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

 Late Shift:  10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    Attend Orientation training.

2.    Work in assembly-line process with other volunteers to package meals.

3.    Follow Health and Safety guidelines/instructions.

2.    Notify the Volunteer Coordinator or Nutrition Secretary when unable to participate.
