The Handyman
Program
The Handyman Program provides assistance with minor home repairs to
low-income elderly homeowners. Projects range from building wheelchair
ramps to repairing broken doors and windows.
One Day At A Time
The One Day At A Time Program uses volunteers to assist Meals-on-Wheels clients with Yard Work, Supplemental Food, Minor House Repairs and other unmet needs.
The Friendly Visitor Program
The Friendly
Visitor Program builds friendships between lonely, elderly
persons and Community
& Senior Services' volunteers. Volunteers offer
the warmth
of their companionship to older adults by regularly visiting with
them in
their own homes.

The Telephone Reassurance
Program
- The Telephone
Reassurance provides daily phone call for individuals
- who have no one to
check on them. Community & Senior Services'
- staff and
volunteers give participants friendly conversation, a listening ear,
- and
information about community resources.
The Grocery Express Program
- The Grocery Express
Program is a grocery shopping
- service available to homebound
seniors. Volunteers

- shop for those who are unable to shop for
themselves.
