The Texas-Size Garage Sale benefiting MEALS-ON-WHEELS is an event largely attended. The doors are ready to open in October  because of a very special and devoted group of volunteers who work hundreds of hours sorting, cleaning and pricing the thousands of items. Donations that have been so generously given by the citizens of Midland begin arriving in January, and by May the volunteers have already started the tedious job of organizing the items ranging from Christmas decorations to electronics!
